Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 is the first annual “Cape May Craft Beer & Crab Festival” taking place on the beautiful grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate located at 1048 Washington St, Cape May. Guests of The Bacchus Inn Bed & Breakfast can enjoy this all-day festival featuring local and regional craft beers along with crab and other summer food favorites.
Music will be playing all-day long on outdoor stage that includes Reed’s Blues, The JL3 Band, New Pony, Dave Landry, The Kelly Carvin Band, and The Kruno Spisic Band. Activities include games, face painting, jugglers and acrobats. There will also be arts, crafts, a farmers’ market, and much more.
The Craft Beer Tent will feature beers from local and regional breweries. These include Cape May Brewing Company , Tuckahoe Brewing Company, and Victory Brewing Company
Sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC), this fun summer event will

Tuesday’s are a good day to be in Cape May in the summer. Every Tuesday between June 26 and August 28, 2012, the West Cape May Farmer’s Market assemblies behind the West Cape May Borough Hall. Some vendors sell locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and honey. Other vendors are there to sell antiques, books, crafts, t-shirts, art, and more.
Community concerts take place between 5pm and 7pm, which feature performances by talented local musicians. Visitors can listen to live music while strolling through the Farmer’s Market or while dining on some of the many food choices offered at the Market, such as bar-b-que, crab cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, and kettle corn.
The West Cape May Farmer’s market is only a short bike ride from the center of Cape May. For your next visit to Cape May or your next stay at The Bacchus Inn B&B, spend the afternoon at the West Cape May Farmer’ Market.

Got Strawberries? We do!
Well, actually the West Cape May Strawberry Festival has strawberries … lots of strawberries. Although the name is the Strawberry Festival, it is not all about the strawberry shortcake, strawberry lemonade, strawberry jams and jellies, it is also about live music, arts & crafts, antiques, fresh produce, BBQ, and lots of other yummy foods offered by local vendors. Guests staying at Cape May Bed and breakfast’s can enjoy good food, good music, and good times at the festival. The West Cape May Strawberry Festival begins at 9:00am and goes until 5:00pm on Saturday, June 4th. It is a popular Cape May event. The festival is held at the Wilbraham Park in West Cape May, walking distance from The Bacchus Inn Bed and Breakfast.

Harbor Fest, June 19,2010, is a great day for couples and families visiting Cape May. The Harbor Fest event takes place on the Harbor by the Cape May Nature center on Delaware Ave. It is just minutes from town and there is a shuttle available to ferry visitors to the Harbor from the center of town by the Washington Street Mall.The Harbor Fest event features food, crafts, and art all in view of Cape May’s beautiful harbor.
Visitors will find a variety of food choices from BBQ to cheese steaks. After lunch you have more choices from PA Dutch bake goods to snow cones or ice cream.
The crafts are always interesting. Some crafts pull on the heart strings of parents and grandparents others provide interesting coffee table conversations for just about anyone’s home. There is something for everyone.
The USCG will be having a water safety presentation at 11am.
The benefit Kayak Regatta will begin at 1pm. Come down to the harbor and have fun.
Harbor Fest is not all fun and games. It also features a memorial service for those lost at sea. It is a reminder of the risks sailors take when they leave the safety of the harbor. The Harbor Fest memorial service will be on June 18,2010 at the Cape May County Fisherman’s Memorial at 7pm. It is a well attended event featuring USCG officers as well as non military families.
Enjoy a great event this weekend on the scenic Cape May Harbor this Friday and Saturday June 18 and 19, 2010. The Harbor Fest Memorial Service begins at 7pm on Friday. Harbor Fest will begin on Saturday at 10 am and have events all day till 5pm.
