|RESERVATIONS – Reservations may be made by calling 609-884-2129 between the hours of 10:30 AM until 8:00 PM EST OR enter your dates on the right side of this page to check availability and to make an online reservation at any time of the day. We have a variety of rooms all with different amenities and options. Please make your reservations early to ensure you can secure the type of accommodations that will meet your needs.
RATES – All quoted rates are double occupancy. There is a charge of $50/night per person for each additional guest in a room.
BREAKFAST – COVID UPDATE- We will operate a little differently this 2020 season. We are following safety guidelines from the county and state. We will have continental breakfast delivered to the room in covered crates. Afternoon refreshments delivered to the room in the same manner. Guests will have option of coming down to common areas. Guests will be asked to practice social distancing guidelines and wear masks in the common areas of the inn as it is mandatory in NJ.
Suspended-Every morning coffee, muffins and fresh whole fruit are available in the dining room by 8am. Additionally, each house provides a Keuring coffee maker and hot and cold water dispenser in the hospitality area 24 hours a day. Some rooms have coffee makers as an amenity. The Bacchus Inn offers a seated breakfast at 8:30am or 9:45am. Each breakfast seating is limited to 16 people. Times will be slotted based on availability at check-in. Breakfast menus are provide on the room door the evening before. Breakfasts alternate every other day between a sweet main course and a savory main course. Each breakfast offers a fresh fruit 1st course followed by the main entree which includes a breakfast meat and main entree. We alternate between 6 different breakfasts a week. Some breakfast are only available in certain seasons. Cereal, including oatmeal, is listed on the menu and available daily as an alternative.
Housekeeping 2020-No daily room makeups, but fresh laundry delivered in basket to the guest room door. Room cleaning at checkout will have added Lysol sanitation then the room will be cleaned. Complimentary bikes and beach chairs will not be available. Everything is subject to change, but this is how we will operate until further notice. The Bacchus Inn appreciates that change is not always comfortable but we are attempting to provide a safe experience while following guidelines so vacation time in Cape May can resume.
|SPECIAL Dietary Needs – If you have any special requests or dietary needs, please communicate that to us at the time of your reservation so we may have adequate time to best satisfy your needs.
CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES – Check-in time is from 2 PM until 8 PM, however, we WILL accept check-ins after 8 PM with special arrangements in advance in writing. Check-out time is 11 AM. Guest must bring reservation confirmation paperwork to check-in.
DEPOSIT – A deposit is required at the time a reservation is made. A 50% deposit by check or credit card is required to hold a reservation. The deposit applies to the last day of the reservation. Shortened stays will not generate a refund. All reservations will be confirmed in writing once the deposit is received.
BALANCE – Any remaining balance is due upon arrival. The balance is payable by CREDIT CARD (Visa, Master Card, or Discover), CASH, MONEY ORDER, CASHIER’S CHECK or TRAVELER’S CHECKS. ***Please Note: We DO NOT accept BEDANDBREAKFAST.COM gift cards for payment.
***CANCELLATION – A deposit is required to reserve and confirm a reservation. The deposit applies to the last day of the confirmed reservation. Cancellation within 14 days of arrival is an automatic forfeit of deposit. Shortened stays will not generate a refund. There is no refund for early checkouts. Outside of 14 days of arrival a guest may request in writing to cancel, shorten their stay, or make a change in their reservation. All cancellations and changes to a reservation must be confirmed in writing by the innkeeper 14 days prior to check in. Once a cancellation is confirmed, the deposit will be refunded minus a $50.00 processing fee, We cannot be held responsible for illness, family emergencies, early departures, work conflicts or inclement weather. Any remaining balance is due upon arrival. No shows will be charged the Balance Due.
SMOKING POLICY – New Jersey State fire regulations prohibit smoking inside our buildings. Any violation will be prosecuted according to New Jersey State Law. Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Additionally, burning of candles, incense, or any other type of incendiary device are strictly prohibited.
CHILD POLICY – Most guests staying at The Bacchus Inn are couples seeking a quiet getaway. Some of our rooms can accommodate 3 or 4 guests, age 12 or older. We have found that most children under 12 are best left at home with Grandma.
PET POLICY – We CANNOT accommodate any pets at The Bacchus Inn.
DISCOUNT POLICY – The Bacchus Inn sometimes offers discount programs. Discounts only apply to reservation booked during the programs specific promotional period. If a discount does apply it will not combine with other programs. Restrictions apply to each program. Certain discounts only apply to returning guest. Those discounts only apply if the guest information is pre-existing in our database. The repeat guest, database confirmed, discount has been updated to 5%. Discounts do not apply to 1 night reservations or holiday reservation not meting the 3 night minimum.
PARKING – Off-street parking is provided for 7 specific rooms (see room descriptions for details). For all other rooms there is street parking available on both sides of the street. For your convenience, during check-in and check-out guests may use the driveways to unload and load.
PLEASE NOTE – All Guests must be 21 years or older. All guests under 21 must be accompanied by an who adult 21 or over.
