Check-in time is 2PM until 8PM. If you expect to be later than 8PM, please notify us so we can make arrangements for your arrival. Many guests arrive early and this is not a problem as long as we know when to expect you. If the room has not yet been prepared for you, we will gladly store your luggage at the inn.
Off street parking is provided for 7 specific rooms (see room descriptions for details). For all other rooms there is street parking available on both sides of the street. For your convenience, during check-in and check-out guests may use the driveways to unload and load. Once you are in Cape May, you won’t need your car much, if at all. Cape May Attractions
There is more to Cape May than just the beach and the Victorian charm. To some people this is enough. Although we do find on occasion we get asked, “What can we do while we’re in Cape May?” If you are asking that very same question, click here.
Cape May Restaurants
Cape May restaurants are plentiful and very good! Reservations to most of the fine dining establishments are recommended. In the summer months, holidays, and special event weekends, reservations are a must! Do not hesitate to contact the innkeepers to help you make reservations. For our dining suggestions, click here.
A deposit is required at the time a reservation is made. The deposit applies to the last day of the reservation. Shortened stays will not generate a refund. There is no refund for early checkouts. In the event that a guest must cancel, shorten their stay, or make a change in their confirmed reservation, a written request must be submitted to the innkeeper. All cancellations and changes to an existing reservation must be confirmed in writing by the innkeeper. Once confirmed, the deposit will be refunded minus a $25.00 processing fee, if we can rebook the entire reservation. If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before check-in (2pm), then NO refund can be made. Cancellations made 21 days prior to scheduled arrival date (or earlier) are eligible for an automatic refund of deposit minus a $25.00 processing fee. We cannot be held responsible for illness, family emergencies, early departures, work conflicts or inclement weather.
